Faculty fellows
The Faculty Fellows have been selected for their commitment to improving teaching and supporting faculty development. Faculty Fellows serve a two-year term working alongside the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to support faculty and advance teaching excellence across campus. Faculty Fellows benefit from taking on a leadership project in faculty development and creating deeper connections with the campus community.
Fellows take on the following responsibilities:
- Communication & Outreach: Share CTL workshops, events, and resources with departmental colleagues and serve as a point of contact for CTL-related questions.
- Faculty Engagement: Encourage participation in CTL programming and provide feedback on faculty instructional needs and priorities.
- Collaboration: Partner with CTL staff to shape programming that meets faculty needs.
- Teaching Awards: Promote teaching excellence awards and grants, support faculty through the application process, and administer the Faculty Awards program at the college level.
- Advocacy & Innovation: Champion teaching excellence and student success, and share innovative teaching practices with colleagues and the CTL.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Faculty Fellow, please reach out to us by e-mailing ctl@gcsu.edu or calling our main line: (478)445-2520.
